Jay Coatta is the founder of Victory Apparel, a brand he started over 25 years ago with his father, John Coatta. Sadly, John was diagnosed with cancer and passed away, bringing that chapter of the business to an end. Victory Apparel is now returning as Jay and his son, Seth Coatta, work together to continue the family business and its mission.
Victory Apparel is a line of leisurewear and sportswear designed around the historical Roman symbol of the Chi Rho. The Chi Rho symbol was instrumental in the famous battle between Roman emperors and political foes Constantine and Maxentius. The night before the battle, Constantine had a dream in which God instructed him to win the battle in the name of Christ. Then, he was given a vision of the Chi Rho symbol which incorporates the first two Greek letters of Christ.
Constantine went on to win the battle and became the sole emperor of the Roman Empire. He then instituted Christianity as the sole religion of Rome. It is the hope of Victory Apparel that people wear our clothing with the same spirit of Victory through Christ that Constantine experienced 2000 years ago!
